Bibi Gaytán is a Mexican singer and actress. Since she was born, she has lived in Villahermosa, Tabasco and she considers herself "Tabasqueña".

Rutilio Cruz Escandón Cadenas is a Mexican lawyer and politician from Chiapas. He is affiliated with the National Regeneration Movement MRN and is the current Governor of Chiapas. Before becoming governor, he represented Chiapas as a senator of the LVIII and LIX and as a federal deputy in the LX Legislature.

Elba Esther Gordillo Morales is a Mexican politician who has been the leader of the 1.4-million-strong National Education Workers' Union, the largest labor union in Latin America, since 1989. She was formerly affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party until 2005, when she left and founded the New Alliance Party, which is currently led by Luis Castro Obregón.

Kʼinich Janaab Pakal I, also known as Pacal, Pacal the Great, 8 Ahau and Sun Shield, was ajaw of the Maya city-state of Palenque in the Late Classic period of pre-Columbian Mesoamerican chronology. He acceded to the throne in July 615 and ruled until his death. During a reign of 68 years—the fifth-longest verified regnal period of any sovereign monarch in history, the longest in world history for more than a millennium, and still the second longest in the history of the Americas—Pakal was responsible for the construction or extension of some of Palenque's most notable surviving inscriptions and monumental architecture. Pakal is perhaps best-known in popular culture for his depiction on the carved lid of his sarcophagus, which has become the subject of pseudoarchaeological speculations.

Janaab Pakal III, also known as 6 Cimi Pakal,, was an ajaw of the Maya city of Palenque. He acceded to the throne in November, 799. He was probably last ruler of Palenque and his glyph name comes from blackware vase found in the residential quarter of city.
