Haya Al Shuaibi is a Kuwaiti comedian actress. She began her career with the actress Taiba Al-Faraj in "Al Hermna" play in 1993, and continued after that in comedy roles on stage and on TV. Three of her cousins are actresses including Mai Al Balushi.

Sabah III Al-Salim Al-Sabah was the Emir of Kuwait from 1965 to 1977, and youngest son of Salim Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. Sabah Al-Salim Al-Sabah succeeded his half-brother Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah upon his death on 24 November 1965. He suspended parliament in late August 1976 for 4 years, claiming it was acting against the nation. He died from cancer on 31 December 1977.

Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah was the eleventh ruler of Kuwait, the first Emir of the State of Kuwait, and commander-in-chief of Kuwait Military Forces from 29 January 1950 until his death.

Atta Mohammed Elayyan was a Jordanian-New Zealand futsal player, coach, businessman, and developer. As a futsal player, Elayyan played on the New Zealand national futsal team and coached for the Christchurch Boys' High School. As a businessman and developer, he founded several businesses including Lazyworm Applications and LWA Solutions. He was killed during the Christchurch mosque shootings.

Turki I bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (1900–1919) was the eldest son of Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia. He accompanied his father during the conquest of the Arabian Peninsula at a young age, and witnessed battles in Kuwait and al-Hasa. He died in 1919 in the 1918-1920 flu pandemic, which also killed many others in the region.

Salim Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah was the ninth ruler of Kuwait.

Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is a Kuwaiti politician and sports administrator who is the current president of Olympic Council of Asia and Asian Handball Federation. He is also a member of the International Olympic Committee. He has worked in the fields of oil, engineering, water and electricity, and communication and construction. He was a member of the FIFA Council from 2015 to 2017.

Nasser Al-Mohammed Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is a Kuwaiti politician who served as Prime Minister of Kuwait from 7 February 2006 until resigning on 28 November 2011.
