Jürg Plüss
Louis Pfenninger
Louis Pfenninger is a former Swiss racing cyclist who won the Tour de Suisse in 1968 and 1972. He competed in the individual road race and team time trial events at the 1964 Summer Olympics and rode the Tour de France in 1967. He was the Swiss National Road Race champion in 1971.

Philipp Schoch
Philipp Schoch is a Swiss snowboarder. He won a gold medal in the Parallel Giant Slalom at the 2002 Winter Olympics. At the next Olympics, he faced his brother Simon Schoch in the Parallel Giant Slalom Final. Philipp raced away to an unassailable 0.88 second lead in the first leg of the final, retaining his Olympic crown. He is the first snowboarder to win two gold medals in the Winter Olympics. At the world championships, he won two silver medals in the slalom events in 2007.

He has been a full Professor of Thermotronics in the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at the institute for dynamic systems and control (IDSC) since 1999. In his research, Lino Guzzella works on modelling and model-assisted optimisation and control of energy technology and mechatronic systems.

Thomas Wegmüller is a former Swiss racing cyclist. He rode in the Tour de France, the Vuelta a España, won a stage in the 1989 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré and was named the Most Combative rider on the Champs Elysees stage during the 1990 Tour de France. He was the Swiss National Road Race champion in 1992.
