Count Andrzej Artur Zamoyski was a Polish nobleman, landowner and political and economic activist.

George Michael Low was a NASA administrator and 14th President of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Low was one of the senior NASA officials who made numerous critical decisions in the Apollo program of crewed missions to the Moon.

Prof. Otto Molden was an Austrian publicist, federalist and author of various books about European identity and history. He founded the European Forum Alpbach in 1945.

Count Ferdinand Ernst Joseph Gabriel von Waldstein und Wartenberg was a German nobleman and patron of the arts. A member of the Bohemian House of Waldstein and an early patron of Ludwig van Beethoven, his political and military roles included the office of a Geheimrat in Bonn, commander (Komtur) of the Teutonic Order, and (briefly) colonel of a light infantry regiment that he had raised.

Louis Nathaniel, Baron de Rothschild was an Austrian baron from the famous Rothschild family. He was born in Vienna on 5 March 1882 and died of heart failure while swimming in Montego Bay, Jamaica on 15 January 1955.
