Norair Martirosovich Sisakian (Sissakian) was a Soviet Armenian biochemist, academic, one of the founders of space biology, an outstanding organizer of science, a member of the Pugwash movement.

Lousine Gevorkian is the lead singer of the Russian nu metal band Tracktor Bowling and the alternative rock/punk band Louna.

Artur Gagiki Vanetsyan is an Armenian politician who served as the director of the National Security Service of Armenia (2018-2019), president of Football Federation of Armenia (2018-2019), and is the founder and chairman of the center-right Homeland Party.

Shushan Samveli Petrosyan is an Armenian singer, Honored Artist of Armenia, and a former deputy in the National Assembly of Armenia.

Albert Azaryan is a former Soviet Armenian artistic gymnast who competed internationally representing the Soviet Union. He is the 1956 and 1960 Olympic Champion on the still rings. Azaryan is the first gymnast to become an Olympic Champion in Rings twice, a feat that Akinori Nakayama would accomplish twelve years later and that no one else has matched since. He is the first person to do one of the rings most famous variations of the Iron Cross called the Azaryan Cross, which incorporates a quarter turn to the side.

Gokor Chivichyan is an Armenian judo, submission grappling, and mixed martial arts instructor. Chivichyan currently trains professional and amateur fighters at the Hayastan MMA Academy in North Hollywood, California, United States. With his extensive knowledge in judo, sambo, catch wrestling, freestyle wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Chivichyan is considered to be one of the most complete grapplers of all time.
