Babur, born Zahīr ud-Dīn Muhammad, was the founder of the Mughal Empire and first Emperor of the Mughal dynasty in the Indian subcontinent. He was a descendant of Timur and Genghis Khan through his father and mother respectively.

Khanzada Begum was a Timurid princess and the eldest daughter of Umar Shaikh Mirza II, the amir of Ferghana. She was also the elder sister of Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire. She and her brother remained deeply attached to each other all their lives, a period during which the family progressed from ruling a tiny and obscure principality in Central Asia to ruling a large portion of the Indian subcontinent. Babur conferred on his sister, the honorable title of Padshah Begum and she was really the first lady of his Empire after his death.

Ruslan Shamilevich Chagaev ; born 19 October 1978) is a retired Uzbek professional boxer of Tatarian descent who competed from 2001 to 2016. He held the WBA heavyweight title twice, from 2007 to 2009 and from 2014 to 2016, and was the first Asian boxer to win a world heavyweight title by any of the four major sanctioning bodies. As of December 2020, BoxRec ranks Chagaev as the 10th greatest Asian fighter of all time, pound-for-pound. He was ranked as the world's top 10 heavyweight by BoxRec from 2004 to 2011, reaching his career-high ranking of No.3 in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Two of his victorious fights received a 5-Star rating from BoxRec.

Hasanboy Marfjon Ugli Dusmatov is an Uzbek professional boxer. As an amateur, Dusmatov won a gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics as a light flyweight.

Ruslan Nurudinov is an Uzbekistani weightlifter of Tatar ethnic origin and an adherent of Islam. He is the first world champion for Uzbekistan in weightlifting (2013). Nurudinov also won a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics, setting a new Olympic record in the clean and jerk at 237 kg.
