Duncan Peter Regehr is a Canadian writer, multi-media artist, and film and television actor. He was also a figure skater and a classically trained Shakespearean stage actor in his native Canada, before heading to Hollywood in 1980. He is perhaps best known as Zorro in The Family Channel's television series based upon Johnston McCulley's classic hero, and from his roles in multiple television incarnations of Star Trek.

Erin Karpluk is a Canadian actress. She is known for her portrayal of Erica Strange on the CBC Television series Being Erica from 2009 to 2011.

Alex Zahara is a Canadian television, film and voice actor. Born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, he was involved with theatre while still in school, performing in a stage version of MASH. He later taught the "Acting for Teens" class at the Vancouver Film School. Zahara graduated with a BFA after studying at the universities of Alberta and British Columbia.

Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. The band is composed of guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair. The band went through several drummer changes between 1995 and 2005, achieving its current lineup when Adair replaced drummer Ryan Vikedal.

Beverley Marian McLachlin CStJ is a Canadian jurist and author who served as the 17th chief justice of Canada from 2000 to 2017, the first woman to hold that position and the longest-serving chief justice in Canadian history. As chief justice, she also simultaneously served as a Deputy of the Governor General of Canada. She retired from the Supreme Court in December 2017.

Rebecca "Beckie" Scott, is a Canadian retired cross-country skier. She is Chair of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Athlete Committee, and served as an International Olympic Committee member by virtue of being elected to the IOC Athlete's Commission along with Saku Koivu between 2006 and 2014.

Jennifer Heil is a Canadian freestyle skier from Spruce Grove, Alberta. Heil started skiing at age two. Jennifer Heil won the first gold medal for Canada in the 2006 Winter Olympics games in Turin, Italy and a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, which was also Canada's first medal in those games. Heil is the reigning world champion in dual moguls. She has three world championship titles in total and two silver medals from the Worlds as well. Over her career, Heil has won a record-tying five overall FIS World Cup Crystal Globe titles for freestyle skiing.
