Takuma Ueda is a male Japanese badminton player from the Unisys team. He was the victor of the final match against Malaysia over Liew Daren in the 2014 Thomas Cup, which saw Japan win the tournament for the first time and in their debut final. He competed at the 2014 Asian Games.

Edoardo Zardini is an Italian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Vini Zabù–Brado–KTM. Zardini won stage 3 of the 2014 Tour of Britain with a breakaway ascent of The Tumble in Monmouthshire and also became the new race leader.

Vania King is a retired Taiwanese-American tennis player. A former top-10 doubles player, King won both the Wimbledon and US Open women's doubles titles in 2010 with partner Yaroslava Shvedova, with whom she also reached the final of the 2011 US Open. She won a total of 15 WTA doubles titles and reached a career-high ranking of No. 3 in the world. She also was a runner-up in the mixed-doubles final at the French Open in 2009, with Marcelo Melo.

Lyddia Cheah Li Ya is a Malaysian badminton player. Her younger sister, Soniia Cheah Su Ya is also a professional badminton player. In 2010, she competed at the Commonwealth Games in India.
