Rene Bitorajac is a Croatian actor. He has appeared in a number of Croatian and Bosnian films since the 1980s. Most notably, he starred in the 2001 Academy Award-winning Bosnian film No Man's Land. He is also known for starring in popular Croatian television sitcoms Bitange i princeze (2005–2010) and Naša mala klinika (2004–2007).

Julie Plec is an American television producer, writer and director, known for her work on The CW television series The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017) which she co-created with Kevin Williamson, and its spin-offs The Originals (2013–2018) and Legacies (2018–present). She also developed the limited series Containment (2016).

A graduate of Circle in the Square Acting School, New York City, after graduation he acted with Willow Cabin Theatre, New York, before returning to Vancouver to resume his film and television career. As a teenager, he was honored with a Genie nomination. He currently practices law with Owen Bird Law Corporation in Vancouver, British Columbia.
