Rostislav Sinicyn is an ice dancer who competed for the Soviet Union. With his wife Natalia Karamyševa (Karamysheva), Sinicyn is the 1978 and 1980 Soviet national champion. Following his retirement from competitive skating, he works as a coach and choreographer and was naturalized as a Czech citizen.

Juliusz Machulski is a Polish film director and screenplay writer. Son of noted actor Jan Machulski, Juliusz became notable for his comedies ridiculing the life in communist-ruled Poland of the 1970s and 1980s.

Dean Phillip Carter is a convicted spree killer currently housed on San Quentin, California's Death row. He has been convicted of the murder of four women: Susan Knoll, Jillette Mills, Bonnie Guthrie, and Janette Cullins. He was also implicated in the death of Tok Chum Kim. On March 25, 1984 Carter raped a woman who survived his attack. All the victims were killed by strangulation.
