David Lynn Selby is an American film, television and stage actor. He is best known for playing Quentin Collins in the daytime soap opera Dark Shadows (1968–71), and Richard Channing in the prime-time soap opera Falcon Crest (1982–90). Selby also had prominent roles in the television series Flamingo Road (1981–82), and the feature film Raise the Titanic (1980). Also a published writer, Selby has written several books including novels, memoirs, and collections of poetry.

Tadashi Yokouchi is a Japanese actor. Born in Dalian, Manchuria, he graduated from high school in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. A member of the 13th group of actors and actresses trained at the Haiyū-za, he counts Tetsuo Ishidate, Toshiyuki Hosokawa, Tomomi Satō, and Gō Katō as classmates. She won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for her role and received awards from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and the Independent Spirit Awards. She earned a second Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television for The Haunted (1991). Kirkland is also known for her roles in Cold Feet (1989), Best of the Best (1989), JFK (1991) and Bruce Almighty (2003).

Ailton Guimarães Jorge, better known as Capitão Guimarães, is an illegal lottery operator (bicheiro) and the patron of samba school Unidos do Viradouro. He has been the president of the Independent League of Samba Schools of Rio de Janeiro (LIESA) from 1987–1993 and 2001-2007. An armed forces officer during the period of the military dictatorship, he is accused of participating in torture proceedings against political prisoners. After leaving the Army, he became a banker of the Jogo do Bicho.
