Petra Born is a German former ice dancer. With partner Rainer Schönborn, she was a three-time German national champion and the 1985 European bronze medalist. They placed 9th at the 1984 Winter Olympics. They represented the club ERCH Zweibrücken and later the club Würzburger ERV. Their coach was Martin Skotnicky.

Christina "Tina" Riegel is a former German figure skater who competed in pair skating and ladies singles at the 1980 Winter Olympics.

László Böcskei is a Romanian cleric, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oradea Mare. Born into an ethnic Hungarian family in Gătaia (Gátalja), Timiș County, he studied at the Roman Catholic Theological Institute of Alba Iulia. He was ordained in June 1990 by Bishop Sebastian Kräuter and assigned to the Timișoara Diocese. He served as assistant priest at a Timișoara parish before being assigned to the city's St. George Cathedral. In 2006, having reached the age of 75, József Tempfli announced his intention to retire as Bishop of Oradea Mare, and Pope Benedict XVI chose Böcskei as his successor. He was consecrated bishop in March 2009.

John Talen is a former road racing cyclist from the Netherlands, who was a professional from 1987 to 2000. As an amateur he won the world title in the 100 km team time trial, alongside Rob Harmeling, Tom Cordes and Gerrit de Vries, and finished second in the individual road race.
