Michael Wayne Daniels Jr. is an American football defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Robert Sacre
Robert Sacre is a former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Japanese B.League. A dual citizen of both the United States and Canada, he has played for the Canadian national basketball team. After playing college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the last overall pick in the second round of the 2012 NBA draft. He played four seasons with the Lakers and three seasons with the Sun Rockers Shibuya in Japan.
Kenichi Tago
Kenichi Tago is a badminton player from Japan, the son of badminton player Yoshiko Yonekura. In 2010, he reached the final of the All England Open Badminton Championships. En route to the final he beat three seeded players including Nguyen Tien Minh, Chen Jin and Bao Chunlai. In the final, Tago lost to the first seed and reigning World No. 1 Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia with a score of 21–19 and 21–19, following an incorrect line call in Lee Chong Wei's favour at matchpoint. In 2012, he competed at the London 2012 Summer Olympics in the men's singles event, but did not advance to the knock-out stage after being defeated by Niluka Karunaratne of Sri Lanka with a score of 18–21, 16–21. In 2014, he reached the Indonesia Open final after a shocking win over Lee Chong Wei in the semifinal but could not keep up his good form and went on to lose by straight games in the final to Jan O. Jorgensen of Denmark. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games.

Byron McGuigan is a rugby union outside centre or wing for Scotland in international rugby and for Sale Sharks in the English Premiership. He was born in Walvis Bay – then a South African exclave, but part of modern-day Namibia – and grew up in Cape Town, where he came through the Western Province academy before his first taste of first class rugby with the Border Bulldogs in 2010 and 2011. After a short spell with the Scotland Sevens team, he returned to fifteens rugby, playing for Glasgow Warriors, Bay of Plenty, Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks, culminating in a call-up to Scotland in 2017.
