Xuanzang
Xuanzang, born Chen Hui / Chen Yi (陳禕), was a Chinese Buddhist monk, scholar, traveler, and translator who traveled to India in the seventh century and described the interaction between Chinese Buddhism and Indian Buddhism during the Harsha-Vardhan Empire.
