William Baer
William Joseph Baer is an American lawyer who served as the Assistant Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division under the administration of President Barack Obama. He is a partner at the American law firm Arnold & Porter, where he works in antitrust law and white collar defense. Since January 2020 he has been a visiting fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution.
