Stuart Scheller

Stuart P. Scheller is a United States Marine Corps lieutenant colonel who was relieved of command after posting a video to Facebook which demanded U.S. military leadership take responsibility after the 2021 Fall of Kabul. His calls for accountability have been replayed by major TV hosts such as Tucker Carlson and CBS News. Officials ordered him to cease posting and imprisoned him when he continued posting. In September 2021 he was being held in the brig at Camp Lejeune pending trial. His imprisonment was reported on by media including Fox News, The Independent, Daily Mail, and New York Post. LtCol Sheller is being held without being charged which is possible under the Uniform code of Military Justice.
