Robert Mellin
Israel Melnikoff, known professionally as Robert Mellin, was a Ukrainian-born American composer and lyricist and music publisher. Born in Kiev and raised in Chicago, where his first job was music plugger at Remick Music. In the early 1940s he moved to New York, where he founded his own company in 1947.
