Nikitas Stamatelopoulos
Nikitaras was the nom de guerre of Nikitas Stamatelopoulos, a Greek revolutionary in the Greek War of Independence. Due to his fighting prowess, he was known as Tourkofagos or Turkophagos, literally meaning the "Turk-Eater".
