Martin Kobler

Martin Kobler is a former German career diplomat who served as a German Ambassador to Pakistan. He also served as Special Representative, Head of United Nations Support Mission in Libya from November 4th 2015 to June 22nd of 2017. He also previously served as Special Representative for the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Head of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) by the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in June 2013. In this capacity, he headed more than 20,000 peacekeepers in the country.
