Ilan Kapoor
Ilan Kapoor is a professor of Critical Development Studies at the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change, York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is an influential postcolonial scholar, considered one of the first to bring both psychoanalysis and postcolonial analysis to the field of Development Studies. He is the author of four books and numerous articles on postcolonial politics, psychoanalysis, participatory development, and celebrity humanitarianism.
