Hrafna-Flóki Vilgerðarson
Hrafna-Flóki Vilgerðarson was the first Norseman to intentionally sail to Iceland. His story is documented in the Landnámabók manuscript; however, the precise year of his arrival is not clear. He settled in this new land then known as Garðarshólmi.
