Hans Fitting
Hans Fitting was a mathematician who worked in group theory. He proved Fitting's theorem and Fitting's lemma, and defined the Fitting subgroup in finite group theory and the Fitting decomposition for Lie algebras and Fitting ideals in ring theory.
