Germaine Franco is a film composer. She began composing as a student at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, where she graduated from in 1984. She is the first Latina to join the music branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Her most prominent work includes Coco, Tag, Dope, Vida, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, and Little.
