ʻIṣām Yūsuf
Essam Youssef is an Egyptian novelist and a screenwriter. He was born in Cairo. Essam Youssef graduated from Cairo University with a Bachelor in English Language. His two novels, A ¼ Gram and 2 Officers, are bestsellers in Egypt. In addition, he wrote the script of the Roundtrip series 2015 and Geniuses, a quiz TV program for high school students, where students compete with each other, and all the revenues of the program are donated to support education in Egypt.
