Derek Boateng
Derek Owusu Boateng is a retired Ghanaian professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Born in Ghana, Boateng went on to play professional football in Greece, Sweden, Israel, Germany, Spain, Ukraine, England, and the United States. He won 47 caps for the Ghana national team and represented his country at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups.
