Chamaeleon, was a Peripatetic philosopher of Heraclea Pontica. He was one of the immediate disciples of Aristotle. He wrote works on several of the ancient Greek poets, namely:

- περὶ Σιμωνίδου - On Simonides
- περὶ Θεσπίδος - On Thespis

- περὶ Στησιχόρου - On Stesichorus
