'Asma' bint Marwan
ʻAṣmāʼ bint Marwān was a female Arab poet who lived in Medina in 7th-century Arabia. Based on hadith, she was killed for her opposition to Mohammed on his order. However, the majority of hadith scholars, both classical and modern, have declared the hadith that this story is based on to be fabricated or false.
