She played the leading female role in several hit Odia films like Babu I Love You, Mu Eka Tumara, Chocolate and Akashe Ki Ranga Lagila. She is also a successful model. She was the first runner up in Pond's Femina Miss India Kolkata in 2013 and won Lakme Absolute Femina Miss Eyeconic Eyes. She also won Miss Talented and Miss Stylish Hair titles.
