List of Famous people named Waleran

Waleran III was initially lord of Montjoie, then count of Luxembourg from 1214. He became count of Arlon and duke of Limburg on his father's death in 1221. He was the son of Henry III of Limburg and Sophia of Saarbrücken.

Waleran de Beaumont, Count of Meulan, 1st Earl of Worcester, was the son of Robert de Beaumont, 1st Earl of Leicester and Elizabeth de Vermandois, and the twin brother of Robert de Beaumont, 2nd Earl of Leicester. He is not referred to by any surname in a contemporary document other than 'Waleran son of Count Robert'.

Waleran II, called Paganus meaning "the Pagan", probably due to a late baptism, was the Duke of Limburg and Count of Arlon (de) from his father's death in about 1119 until his own twenty years later. He was given the Duchy of Lower Lorraine by Lothair of Supplinburg in 1128 after the latter's accession as King of Germany in 1125.

Waleran de Beaumont, 4th Earl of Warwick was the younger son of Roger de Beaumont, 2nd Earl of Warwick and Gundred de Warenne, daughter of William de Warenne, 2nd Earl of Surrey and Elizabeth de Vermandois. He was also known as Walerian de Newburg.

Waleran IV was the duke of Limburg from 1247 to his death. He was the son and successor of Henry IV and Ermengarde, countess of Berg.

Waleran II of Luxembourg, Lord of Ligny, was a French nobleman and member of the House of Luxembourg. He was Lord of Beauvoir, Roussy and Ligny. He was a son of Waleran I and his wife, Joan of Beauvoir.

Waleran II of Arlon, supposedly also called Udon of Limburg, was the count of Arlon from AD 1052 and, if he was the same person as Udon, also count of Limburg from 1065 and advocatus of the Abbey of Sint-Truiden. He was the younger son of Waleran I, Count of Arlon, and his wife Adelaide. His elder brother Fulk became Count of Arlon.
