Menon, of a peace walk of over 8,000 miles in 1973–4, from New Delhi to Moscow, Paris, London, and Washington, D.C., the capitals of the world's earliest nuclear-armed countries. He insists that reverence for nature should be at the heart of every political and social debate.
Satish Chandra was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from the Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh as a member of the Indian National Congress. He was the Deputy Minister for Defence, 1952—55, Deputy Minister for Production, 1955—57 and Deputy Minister for Commerce and Industry, 1957—62 in the Nehru Ministry.

Satish C. Sharma is an Indian politician. He now represents the Indian National Congress party, and is a former member of the Union Cabinet in the Government of India. Sharma's political career has been boosted by his closeness to both Rajiv Gandhi, and after his assassination, his wife and the de facto political power center of the Congress party, Sonia Gandhi. He has held seats in the Lok Sabha at the behest of both the Nehru-Gandhi family and the electorate.
