Ruth Arnon is an Israeli biochemist and codeveloper of the multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone. She is currently the Paul Ehrlich Professor of Immunology at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where she is researching anti-cancer and influenza vaccinations.

Ruth Dreifuss is a Swiss politician affiliated with the Social Democratic Party. She was a member of the Swiss Federal Council from 1993 to 2002, representing the Canton of Geneva.

Sharon Ruth Bradley is an Irish actress. She is best known for playing Emily Merchant in Primeval (2011) and Karen Voss in Humans (2015–18). She has also had recurring roles in Legend, The Innocence Project, Plus One and Love/Hate. She won the IFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2007 for Stardust. Afterward, Bradley won a Best Actress award at the Milan International Film Festival 2010 for her starring performance in the film In Her Skin.

Ruth Closius-Neudeck was a Schutzstaffel (SS) supervisor at a Nazi concentration camp complex from December 1944 until March 1945. She was executed for war crimes.
