Roy Emerson
Roy Stanley Emerson is an Australian former tennis player who won 12 Grand Slam singles titles and 16 Grand Slam doubles titles, for a total of 28 Grand Slam tournament titles. He is the only male player to have completed a career Grand Slam in both singles and doubles, and first of two men to have completed a double career Grand Slam in singles. His 28 major titles are the all-time record for a male player. In 1964, he was ranked world No. 1.
Roy Wood
Roy Wood is an English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was particularly successful in the 1960s and 1970s as member and co-founder of the Move, Electric Light Orchestra and Wizzard. As a songwriter, he contributed a number of hits to the repertoire of these bands. Altogether he had more than 20 singles in the UK Singles Chart under various guises, including three UK No. 1 hits.

Roy Whiting
Roy William Whiting is a British convicted child murderer, from West Sussex. In July 2000, he abducted and murdered 8-year-old Sarah Payne of which he was found guilty in December 2001. On 12 December 2001, he was sentenced to life imprisonment and is set to remain in prison until at least 2041, he will be 82 if he is still alive. Whiting's risk to the public is so severe that it is likely that he will never be released from prison.
