Hu Yuxiang is a Chinese female badminton player.

Hu Ling-fang is a Taiwanese badminton player. In 2016, she was selected to compete at the 2016 Uber Cup in Kunshan, China. She played as a third women's singles and finally the Taiwanese team beat the Mauritanian with the score 5-0. She won her first senior international title at the 2017 Finnish Open in the mixed doubles event partnered with Tseng Min-hao. Hu also joined the national team participating at the 2018 Asian Games.

Hu Henghua is a Chinese politician currently serving as deputy party secretary and mayor of Chongqing. He is an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He was a representative of the 17th and 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and a deputy to the 12th National People's Congress.

Hu Ting is a former Chinese badminton player. Born in Hubei, Hu was joined the provincial team in 1994. She then selected to join the national junior team in 1997, after that in the senior team in 1998. Hu was two times Asian Junior Champion in 1998 and 1999, also the runner-up in 1998 World Junior Championships. She won the senior title at the 2002 Malaysia Open, defeating the World No.1 women's singles player Camilla Martin.

Hu Xiansu or Hu Hsien-Hsu, was a Chinese botanist and an influential traditional scholar of his time. He was a founder of plant taxonomy in China and a pioneer of modern botany research in the country.
