Germán Alejandro Garmendia Aranis, known by his YouTube channels HolaSoyGerman and JuegaGerman, is a Chilean YouTuber, comedian and writer. With a combined subscriber count between all his channels reaching over 80 million, he is not only one of the biggest Spanish-speaking YouTubers, but also one of the biggest Youtubers of all time. He has produced a variety of songs together with his band Ancud. His book titled #ChupaElPerro was released in multiple stores in Latin America and Spain on 28 April 2016. He was also featured in the Latin Spanish dub of Ice Age: Collision Course as Julian.

Germán Genaro Cipriano Gómez Valdés de Castillo, better known as Tin-Tan, was a Mexican actor, singer and comedian who was born in Mexico City but was raised and began his career in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. He often displayed the pachuco dress and employed pachuco slang in many of his movies, some with his brothers Manuel "El Loco" Valdés and Ramón Valdés. He made the language of the Border Mexican known in Spanish as Fronterizos pachucos famous in Mexico. German Khan
German Borisovich Khan is a Ukrainian-Russian billionaire businessman. After graduating from university in 1988 he worked in a wholesale business selling consumer items, before setting up his own cooperative. He was then appointed the head of the wholesale trade business Alfa Eco as part of the Alfa Group Consortium, by Mikhail Fridman. He became president of Alfa Eco in 1996 and was instrumental in directing the company to focus on export and the oil trade. When Alfa bought Tyumen Oil (TNK) in 1997, he joined the board of directors. He was deputy chairman of TNK Oil Company from 1997 until 2003. In 2003, Khan worked with the other TNK owners to form a 50–50 joint venture with British Petroleum (BP), in what was the largest foreign investment in Russia to date, at US$8 billion.

Germán Vargas Lleras is a Colombian politician who recently served as Vice President of Colombia under President Juan Manuel Santos Calderón. A member of the Radical Change political party, he served four consecutive terms in the Senate, having been elected in 1994. German Vargas also served in the Cabinet as the Minister of Interior and then as the Minister of Housing, City and Territory. He was elected Vice President of Colombia in 2014, running alongside Juan Manuel Santos who was seeking re-election for a second term as President. On 15 March 2017, Vargas Lleras resigned as Vice President in order to be eligible to run for President in the 2018 presidential elections.
