Gagik Tsarukyan is an Armenian businessman, politician, and former athlete. Tsarukyan is the founder and leader of the Prosperous Armenia political party, the largest opposition party in Armenia's National Assembly. He also owns various large-scale businesses and is believed to be one of the richest men in Armenia. He is seen as the most influential of Armenia's former government-connected oligarchs, and a key business partner of former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan.

Gagik I was the king of Armenia who reigned between 989 and 1020, under whom Bagratid Armenia reached its height, and "enjoyed the accustomed experience of unbroken peace and prosperity."

Gagik Hovunts was an Armenian composer, born in Yerevan. He started his music education at the Alexander Spendiaryan Music School. In 1954 he graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, the class of violin with Karp Dombaev, and in 1957 - the class of composition with Grigor Yeghiazaryan. He was a Professor at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory from 1984 onwards.

Gagik II was the last Armenian king of Bagratuni dynasty. Known as Gagik II King of Ani, a juvenile at the time, he was enthroned as Gagik II and ruled for a brief period from 1042 to 1045 before the Bagratid dynasty rule collapsed in Armenia.

Gagik was a King of Kakheti and Hereti in eastern Georgia from 1039 to 1058.
