Abd al-Sattar Tawfiq Qasim al-Khader is a Palestinian writer, thinker, political analyst, and academic. He was born in the town of Deir Al-Ghusoun in Tulkarm Governorate and died in Nablus. He is a professor of political science and Palestinian studies at An-Najah National University in Nablus. He is known for his positions rejecting the settlement with Israel and critical of the Palestinian Self-Government Authority.

Abdul-Latif Arabiyat was a Jordanian politician who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 1990 to 1993.

Abu Amr Abd al-Rahman ibn Amr al-Awzai (707–774) was the chief representative and eponym of the Awza'i school of Islamic jurisprudence. Awzai was referred to by his tribe "Awza" (الأوزاع), part of Banu Hamdan.

'Abd al-Rahman al-Kawakibi was a Syrian author and Pan-Arab solidarity supporter. He was one of the most prominent intellectuals of his time; however, his thoughts and writings continue to be relevant to the issues of Islamic identity and Pan-Arabism. His criticisms of the Ottoman Empire eventually led to Arabs calling for the sovereignty of the Arab Nations, setting the basis for Pan-Arab nationalism. Al-Kawakibi articulated his ideas in two influential books, Tabai al-Istibdad wa-Masari al-Isti’bad and Umm Al-Qura. He died in 1902 of “mysterious” causes. His family alleged that he was poisoned by Turkish agents.

Abd Al-Aziz Fawzan Al-Fawzan is an Islamic scholar and author in Saudi Arabia. He is also known as Abd al-Aziz b. Fawzan al-Fawzan, Abd Al-Aziz Al-Fawzan.

Abdelhafid of Morocco or Mulai Abdelhafid was the Sultan of Morocco from 1908 to 1912 and a member of the Alaouite Dynasty. His younger brother, Abdelaziz of Morocco, preceded him. While Mulai Abdelhafid initially opposed his brother for giving some concessions to foreign powers, he himself became increasingly backed by the French and finally signed the protectorate treaty giving de facto control of the country to France.

He supported the Arab Revolt during World War I and briefly headed the foreign ministry under Emir Faisal.
