Penei Sewell
Penei Sewell is an American football offensive tackle for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). Born in American Samoa, he moved to the American state of Utah in 2012 prior to attending the University of Oregon. As a sophomore there in 2019, he was named a unanimous All-American and was awarded the Outland and Morris trophies. He opted out of his junior season in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequently declared for the 2021 NFL Draft, where he was drafted seventh overall by the Lions.
