Joaquín Ramón Martínez Sabina, known artistically simply as Joaquín Sabina, is a singer, songwriter, and poet from the Andalusia region of southern Spain. He is widely considered as the greatest and finest spanish-speaking songwriter. His songs usually treat about love, heartbreaks and society with a large usage of literary figures similarly to the baroque-literature style.

Poppaea Sabina was a Roman Empress as the second wife of the Emperor Nero. She had also been wife to the future emperor Otho. The historians of antiquity describe her as a beautiful woman who used intrigues to become empress.

Vibia Aurelia Sabina was the youngest daughter and child born to Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius and Roman Empress Faustina the Younger. She was a sister to Roman Empress Lucilla and Roman Emperor Commodus. Her maternal grandparents were Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius and Roman Empress Faustina the Elder and her paternal grandparents were Domitia Lucilla and praetor Marcus Annius Verus.

Vibia Sabina (83–136/137) was a Roman Empress, wife and second cousin once removed to Roman Emperor Hadrian. She was the daughter of Matidia and suffect consul Lucius Vibius Sabinus.

Saint Sabina, matron and martyr from Rome. She was the widow of Senator Valentinus and daughter of Herod Metallarius. After her female slave Saint Serapia was denounced and beheaded, Sabina rescued her slave's remains and had them interred in the family mausoleum where she also expected to be buried. Denounced as well, Sabina was accused of being a Christian by Elpidio the Prefect and was thereupon martyred in the year 125 AD in the city of Vindena in the state of Umbria, Italy.
