He got his MCA degree from Bharathidasan University in April 2001. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi comes from a powerful and vibrant political family in the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party.He is the son of former Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MLA Anbil Poyyamozhi and grandson of former Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) minister Anbil P. Dharmalingam and his uncle Anbil Periyasamy also a politician from the DMK party. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, popularly known as Mahesh, is an undeterred man.
