Samuel Hoskins Merrill is an American professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on assignment with the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Utah State Aggies.

Stephen Everett Merrill was an American lawyer and Republican politician from Manchester, New Hampshire. He served as the 77th Governor of New Hampshire from 1993 to 1997.
