Joshua Thomas McDaniels is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He has been an assistant coach in New England for 17 non-consecutive seasons, beginning his career with the team in 2001, and has served as offensive coordinator for 13 non-consecutive seasons. In between his tenure with the Patriots, he served as the head coach of the Denver Broncos for two seasons.

Darryl Matthews McDaniels, better known by his stage name DMC, is an American musician and rapper. He is a founding member of the hip hop group Run–D.M.C., and is considered one of the pioneers of hip hop culture.

Jaden McDaniels is an American basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Washington Huskies. He attended Federal Way High School in Federal Way, Washington, where he was named a McDonald's All-American and Washington Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior. McDaniels was a five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2019 class.

Kevin "K. J." McDaniels Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for Clemson University before he was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 32nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft.
