Niko Kovač
Niko Kovač is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who is the current manager of Ligue 1 club Monaco. Kovač was the long-standing captain of the Croatia national team until his retirement from international football in January 2009. A defensive midfielder who was known for his excellent passing and tackling skills, Kovač was, at the time of his retirement, the oldest player in the Croatian squad and had captained them at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008. He has also enjoyed a high level of top club action, having spent most of his club career in the German Bundesliga, including spells with Hertha BSC, Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburger SV and Bayern Munich.

Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács is a Slovakian professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) player and former Counter-Strike: Source (CS:S) and Counter-Strike (CS) player. GuardiaN has played at a high level in all three mentioned Counter-Strike games. He is known for being one of the best players with the AWP and one of the best players overall. He played for team Natus Vincere (Na'Vi) for most of his career in CS:GO until entering free agency in February 2021.

Mirko Kovač was a Yugoslav writer. In his rich career he wrote novels, short stories, essays, film scripts, TV and radio plays. Among his best known works are the novels "Gubilište", "Životopis Malvine Trifković", "Vrata od utrobe", "Grad u zrcalu", the short story collection "Ruže za Nives Koen", the book of essays "Europska trulež" and the scripts for some of the most successful films of Yugoslav cinema like Lisice (1969), Playing Soldiers and Occupation in 26 Pictures among others. He was one quarter of the infamous Belgrade quartet, the other three being Danilo Kiš, Borislav Pekić and Filip David.
