Nicola Kim Fairbrother is a retired judoka from the United Kingdom. She competed in two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992, when she won the silver medal in the women's lightweight division. In the final she was defeated by Spain's Miriam Blasco, who later she married. Nicola won the World Title in Hamilton, Canada in 1993 and three European titles. In 1994 she was awarded the MBE for services to judo by HRM The Queen. She currently holds the 7th Dan.

Sarah Fairbrother was an English actress and the mistress of Prince George, Duke of Cambridge, a male-line grandson of George III. As the couple married in contravention of the Royal Marriages Act 1772, their marriage was not recognised under the law.
