Candan Erçetin is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Over the twenty years of her singing career, she has been recognized for preparing and singing songs about human life. Despite the fact that she made her albums without much publicity, her work influenced other artists. Erçetin has released many music videos with different themes. Because her family originate from the Balkans, she has often used elements of Balkan music in her songs and works. In addition to Turkish, she has written songs in French and Greek.

Bengisu Erçetin is a Turkish badminton player. She was crowned as the girls' doubles champion at the 2016 European U15 Badminton Championships in Kazan, Russia partnered with Zehra Erdem, and also won the bronze medal in the singles event. Teamed-up with Nazlıcan İnci, they grabbed the silver medal in U17 Championships in 2016, and made it to the gold medal in 2017 with Erdem. She won her first senior international tournament at the 2017 Turkey International tournament. Erçetin competed at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, and won the silver medal in the women's doubles event with İnci.
