Rajshri Deshpande is an Indian actress and activist. She gained international recognition with her portrayal of Laxami in Pan Nalin's Angry Indian Goddesses. This was followed by the titular role of Durga in Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's Sexy Durga, which won the Hivos Toger Award at the Rotterdam Film Festival. She also plays the role of Manju in BBC One's McMafia. Deshpande received critical acclaim for her performance as Subhadra in the Netflix series Sacred Games, directed by Anurag Kashyap. She played the role of Ismat Chughtai in Nandita Das's film Manto.

Purushottam Laxman Deshpande, popularly known by his initials or as P. L. Deshpande, was a Marathi writer and humorist from Maharashtra, India. He was also an accomplished film and stage actor, script writer, author, composer, musician, singer and orator. He was often referred to as "Maharashtra's beloved personality".

Sulabha Deshpande was an Indian actress and theatre director. Apart from Marathi theatre and Hindi theatre in Mumbai, she acted in over 73 mainstream Bollywood films. She also performed in art house cinema such as Bhumika (1977), Arvind Desai Ki Ajeeb Dastaan (1978), and Gaman (1978) as a character actor, along with numerous TV series and plays. Tushar Deshpande is an Indian cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2016. He made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 19 September 2018. He took his first five-wicket haul in List A cricket in the quarter-finals of the tournament on 14 October 2018. The following month, he was named as one of eight players to watch ahead of the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy.
