Alexey Viktorovich Shchusev was an acclaimed Russian and Soviet architect whose works may be regarded as a bridge connecting Revivalist architecture of Imperial Russia with Stalin's Empire Style.

Louisa Jane McDonnell, VA, was the daughter of Hon. Charles Grey and his wife, Caroline Eliza née Farquhar. On 1 June 1875, Louisa married the 6th Earl of Antrim in the Chapel Royal at St. James's. They had three children:

• Lady Sybil Mary McDonnell, married Vivian Smith, 1st Baron Bicester.
• Randal McDonnell, 7th Earl of Antrim.
• Hon. Angus McDonnell.

Fedor Ozep or Fyodor Otsep was a Russian-American film director and screenwriter, born in Moscow. An important early writer on film and film theory, he served as dramaturge for the Mezhrabpomfilm-Rus company and wrote a number of films for directors such as V.I. Pudovkin and Yakov Protazanov before turning to directing in 1926.

Mario Pascal was an Italian applied mathematician, specializing in fluid mechanics and aerodynamics.

Clarence Brickwood Kingsbury was a British track cyclist who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics. He belonged to the Paddington and North End cycling clubs.

Sir Edward Seymour Hicks, better known as Seymour Hicks, was a British actor, music hall performer, playwright, actor-manager and producer. He became known, early in his career, for writing, starring in and producing Edwardian musical comedy, often together with his famous wife, Ellaline Terriss. His most famous acting role was that of Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol.

Alejandro Lerroux García was a Spanish politician who was the leader of the Radical Republican Party. He served as Prime Minister three times from 1933 to 1935 and held several cabinet posts as well. A highly charismatic politician, he was distinguished by his demagogical and populist political style.
