Matilda of Scotland, also known as Good Queen Maud or Matilda of Blessed Memory, was Queen of England and Duchess of Normandy as the first wife of King Henry I. She acted as regent of England on several occasions during Henry's absences: in 1104, 1107, 1108, and 1111.

Thomas Cochrane, 8th Earl of Dundonald was a Scottish nobleman, army officer and politician. He was Member of Parliament for Renfrewshire, 1722–1727. He served as Commissioner of the Excise for Scotland from 1730 until 1764. He acceded to the title of Earl of Dundonald in 1758 on the death of his cousin, William Cochrane, 7th Earl of Dundonald.

Pepin II, commonly known as Pepin of Herstal, was a Frankish statesman and military leader who de facto ruled Francia as the Mayor of the Palace from 680 until his death. He took the title Duke and Prince of the Franks upon his conquest of all the Frankish realms.

Agrypina was a Lithuanian noblewoman from the Gediminids dynasty. She was a daughter of Grand Duke of Lithuania Algirdas and his first wife Maria of Vitebsk. In 1354, she married Duke of Suzdal Boris, son of Konstantin and brother of Dmitry. This is only mentioned in Suprasl Chronicle, a transcription of the first Lithuanian Chronicle. One Russian Chronicle confirms the marriage, but does not record the bride's name. That is the only reliable information available about Agrypina. Her husband attempted to take control over Nizhny Novgorod, but failed when he was opposed by Dmitri Donskoi, Prince of Moscow.

Hwanjo of Joseon, personal name Yi Ja-chun, Mongolian name Ulus Bukha (吾魯思不花), was a minor military officer of the Yuan Empire, who later transferred his allegiance to Goryeo. He was the father of Yi Seong-gye, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea. He was given the temple name Hwanjo by his grandson, King Taejong.
