Yasovarman II was the ruler of the Khmer empire from 1160 to 1166. He succeeded Dharanindravarman II. In 1165, he was overthrown by the mandarin Tribhuvanadityavarman. His rule ended with his assassination by one of his subordinates.

Serdar Ferhad Pasha was an Ottoman statesman of Albanian descent. He was twice grand vizier of the Ottoman Empire between 1 August 1591 and 4 April 1592 and between 16 February 1595 and 7 July 1595.

Dio Chrysostom, Dion of Prusa or Dio Cocceianus, was a Greek orator, writer, philosopher and historian of the Roman Empire in the 1st century AD. Eighty of his Discourses are extant, as well as a few Letters and a funny mock essay "In Praise of Hair", as well as a few other fragments. His surname Chrysostom comes from the Greek chrysostomos (χρυσόστομος), which literally means "golden-mouthed".

Peder Johnsen was a Norwegian sailor who served as a representative at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly in 1814.

Cleomenes was a Cynic philosopher. He was a pupil of Crates of Thebes, and is said to have taught Timarchus of Alexandria and Echecles of Ephesus, the latter of whom would go on to teach Menedemus.
