Charles F. Erhart was a German-born American businessman who co-founded Chas. Pfizer & Co. Inc. with Charles Pfizer, his cousin and, later, brother-in-law.

Sir Alexander Fraser, 1st Baronet, was principal physician to King Charles II of England. He had also accompanied Charles I during his imprisonment at Carisbrooke Castle. In 1667 Sir Edmund Berry Godfrey sued him over a debt of £30 for firewood and Fraser was briefly imprisoned. However the king had him released and Godfrey imprisoned and his bailiffs whipped. Godfrey was released after a hunger strike.

Teh Kew San (郑求山) is a former Malaysian badminton player who won national and international titles from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s.

Nicolas Denisot, also Nicholas Denizot, (1515–1559) was a French Renaissance poet and painter.

Lady Henrietta Berkeley was an English aristocrat notorious for having an affair with her elder sister's husband. It began in 1681 when Berkeley was not yet an adult and was discovered by her mother the following year. Berkeley was removed to the family seat at Epsom then escaped and went into hiding in lodging houses in London, under the protection of her lover. Her father, George Berkeley, 1st Earl of Berkeley, decided to prosecute her lover, Ford Grey, 1st Earl of Tankerville, in a trial which became a sensation in 1682.

Edmund Bonner was Bishop of London from 1539–49 and again from 1553-59.
