Richard Orpen was an Irish architect, painter, illustrator and designer.

Willard Hall, was a Delaware attorney and politician from Wilmington in New Castle County. He was a member of the Democratic-Republican Party, who served in the Delaware Senate, as a United States Representative from Delaware and as a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. He served as the first President of the Delaware Historical Society, was President of the state Bible society, and was instrumental in the formation of the Wilmington Savings Fund Society as a community bank, serving as its President for more than 40 years.

Peter Emil Huber-Werdmüller was a Swiss industrialist who founded the engineering company Maschinenfabrik Oerlikon. He was the son of Johann Rudolf Huber, a Zurich silk manufacturer and studied mechanical engineering from 1855 at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich. In 1858 he received his diploma as an engineer and then supplemented his knowledge at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris. He was also in England for a long time, where he was able to acquire more knowledge.

Robert F. Kortman was an American film actor mostly associated with westerns, though he also appeared in a number of Laurel and Hardy comedies. He appeared in more than 260 films between 1914 and 1952.
